In the beginning of the school year of 2014-2015, I surveyed 480 eighth grader in Robbinsville, New Jersey. There are only 4% of students who have heard of programming.
​
However, within a semester for the first time in this school, my students have created their first anti-bullying theme web animation and won the first place in a county art contest for the school.
​
I do not know any magic, it's all about effective planning, curriculum design and personalize teaching.
