Master of Education in Teaching (MEdT)
What a two year field-based program with a lovely cohort in various demographic schools! I can't thank my mentors, professors, colleagues enough of their guidance and support! This master program certainly taught me how to set and achieve high expectation to meet the academic, organizational, behavioral, and professional goals of highy qualified teachers in the United States. I am ready to provide my students the early academic and social experiences that builds a foundation of their success.
Bachelor of Philosophy
My studies in Philosophy focused on foreign historical literature and their cultures. I found an inspiring class called “Philosophy for Children”, also known as p4c. If I didn't find p4c, I know for sure I wouldn't become a teacher.
Bachelor of American Studies
In American Studies, I learned about different aspects of American culture and history. The classes I took gave me a better perspective and understanding of how cultural and historical influences are reflected in the needs of America today. As a teacher, this helped me understand my students in a different perspective and how to better communicate with different background of parents.
